For the last 2 weeks I have been working with Madie on learning to read and write.  She is doing well and I have already seen progress.
This is her writing her own name on the first day...

Hair Cut Day

Ever since I cut my hair Madison has been beging me to "cut her hair like mommys", and for the last couple of weeks Wayne has been complaining that Collin no longer looks like a boy.
So I finally broke down and after almost 2 years Madison got her second hair cut, and Collin got his first a week after his second birthday.

Madison is 4

My little girl is growing up.  Yesterday she turned 4.
We had a fun little party at home for her.  She got some great gifts.

She loves pink, so she had to have pink frosting, pink candles, and pink ice cream.

Happy Birthday baby girl.  I love you.

Snow Day

While visiting Papa and Gma Julie, we went further up the mountain where there was lots of fresh snow.

The two things Madie had to do were make a snow angel and build a snow man.
Even uncle Brad helped.

We had a snow ball war. Wayne, Madison, Collin and myself against Brad, Jamie, Geneva and Bennett.

We stoped for lunch, and Geneva and Bennett were done with the snow...
but, Madie and Collin wanted to sled somemore.  They had so much fun going down the hill.

Halloween

Madie loves Tinkerbell, and I found this beautiful dress on clerance.  We decided to have fun and get the whole family involved.

While Madie's dress is store bought, I made the rest of the costumes.

Happy Birthday

My sister Rhonda and her family came in from Texas for her sister-in-laws wedding.  My parents had been in Texas visiting and then drove back with her and the girls.  Her husband than flew out for the weekend to be at the wedding.
Rhonda got here the day before her birthday and a few days before Kristana's birthday so we had a big party celebrating both of them.
Yesterday they came to see our new home, and since we are so close to the beach they wanted to go. Kaylah had not been since she was 5 and she is now 9. Rhonda's friend Debra also came with her 3 girls.
 Playing soccer with Kristana.

We all had so much fun.  Collin was happier in someones arms, but he did venture in the sand some.  Madison was happy wandering the sand looking for treasures. She did venture near the water some, but after getting knocked over she stayed away the best she could.
It was so good to get to see them and they are always missed.  I had not seen them since Collin was 2 weeks old, and I hope I don't have to wait another 20 months to see them again.
We love you, come back soon!
